Hexafluoro dianhydride (6FDA), whose full name is 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropyl) diphthalic anhydride, is an important monomer for the synthesis of polyimides. The compound contains hexafluoroisopropylidene (-C3F6-) structural unit.
